Small White Visitors

I have noticed what appear to be small white insect-looking creatures on the glass of my aquarium. They are about the size of a flea with tiny antennas a round body and a tiny little tail. They appear to stay mostly on the glass. Any ideas?

Probably. How bad are these things?

Okay, from searching the copepods, they appear to be a good thing for once. Any idea what the little spiral critters that showed up at the same time are? They look like tiny snails but they are flat rings instead of raised and they do not appear to move. This tank has only been set up for three months.
