Just curious, what is the smallest reef tank you ever built?

In one of my books, the author mentions one renowned reefkeeper building a 1 quart micro reef. Changed a few ounces of the water per water change, and only had like a hermit in it.

Smallest tank I had is my 5 gal reef.

I am pretty sure I am about to get a nice promotion and if I do I am going to put a 5 gallon in my new office and see how that goes. I have a 2 1/2 fw in my current office but I think it is too small.
