Smallest tank size for a porcupine puffer

is that blue on their eye normal, i see them at lfs allways like that, then they die fairly soon, and they can NEVER keep puffers, they die like crazy

Fishman, I would say its time you found a new lfs then...
Puffers are one of the easier fish to keep.
And yes, the blue eyes are normal.

in a 10 ? wow,hhmmm..thats kinda bad IMO..they do show up small at some lfs,mine was about 2in long and about 1 in high and started him in a 45 gal high for about three months,but I already had a 125 setup knowing thats where he was going,these fish are really like a pet ,they get to know you and flap the fins hystaricly when you are near,those are there natural blue eyes,be warned though they eat Alot and are very messy,you need exellent bio filtration o r they will put a major strain on your tank because of the waste....otherwise these fish are pretty easy to care for...HTH

Here's mine. He's in a 75 gallon right now, but I plan to move him soon because he is starting to get to big for the tank. I started with a 55 gallon and I'm still moving up. My wife loves him so he's my excuse to get a bigger tank.:)

hehehe allways getthe fish your wife loves ;) especially when your tank isnt as big as you want :)
