Smooth Hound Sharks?

Hi everyone,
I went to my LFS yesterday and they had four smooth hound sharks for sale. Each was about 15" long and looked very healthy. I don't have the capability of housing these animals, but I was wondering if anyone here has had any experience keeping them. I have never read anything about them (most websites and books that I have come across only mention commonly kept species like the bamboo, wobegone, nurse, port jackson, etc.) but they are stunningly beautiful and look much more "shark-like" than the almost catfish-looking bottom dwellers. They were housed in a tank with a banded cat shark and the difference in behavior was obvious: the cat was lying on the substrate near a rock and never moved while the hounds were very active, swimming with fervor and examining everyone who walked by the tank.
Anybody ever kept any?
Thanks.

I fell upon one of these sharks before, and was so excited because they did look more sharlk like and they were definatley more active than the regular cat sharks, I had him for about three months, at first he ate anything that I gave him, so i figured he was going to be really easy to keep, but about two months into it he stopped eating and was just sitting at the bottom of the tank until it died.. I have no idea what killed him, my water conditions were normal, the guy at my LFS thought that maybe I wasn't getting him the nutrients he needed but I was feeding him krill and silversides, so I don't know it might be kind of a gamble cuz they are not cheap

smoothhound sharks get HUGE...over five feet in length, so unless anyone has a tank in the thousands of gallons it ias def. not an aquarium shark!! its a shame and should be left int he ocean or only sold to people who have gigantic tanks with LOTS of money

I live in Salt Lake City (hence SLC), but I went to my LFS Saturday and the smooth hounds were still there, but they were all sold.
