How fast does a Grey/Brown Smoothound shark grow?

An LFS had 2 in a 1000g tank and they started at 24". within 6 months they were over 3 feet.

They are an active shark and need a lot of swimming space. If you don't have a pond over 2000g then I suggest staying with Bethnic species.

Both Gray & Brown Smoothies - grow very fast, and tend to have short life spans. Both species tend to mature in about 24-30 months. And usually live about only about 6-9 years.
But yeah they need large ponds of at least 2,000 gallons.
