Snail EATING Coralline Algae

I have an unknown type of snail (came with the turbo snails but is not a turbo) stripping all algae including coralline algae. He has been in the tank for a week and turned two coraline encrusted rocks into two very white rocks . What type of snail is this? Who wants it or should he be baked at 350 with some garlic butter?

I have no idea what kind he is, but if he stripped two of my rocks.....he would be ready in about 7-10 minutes complete with sautee'd mushrooms.

I have heard of urchins stripping the rocks clean, but never snails...

The snail is now in the Gulf of Mexico. He can strip all the food he wants.......
