Snail ID Help!

has a cone shape shell, along with a trunk(?) that i saw, that has dark blue and black stripes.

I checked my books...if it has a long trunk like you state. He could be a cone snail. Very bad and deadly. don't touch him.. do research on it first.
hard for me to tell though need a closer picture. The shell doesn't quite match a cone snail.
or it's a fighting conch. :notsure:

There are over 500 species of cone snails, marine animals found in coastal areas. Each species produces many different venoms 30. Venom produced by the snails is injected into victims by means of their proboscis. In most cases this venom is not harmful to humans, although there have been a few reported cases of fatality following evenomation 31.
