snail id - on caribean rock

please help id this snail,so far them seem to be sticking to the rocks, but I've found quite a few on some new caribean rock.

not Stometella, I've had those before. These have a standard sprial shell like a nerite. The spiral is on the left side in the pic. I'm pretty sure these are the same snails you see at low tide on rocks and sea walls in South Florida. I bought the rock down there although it was supposed to be carribean rock.

actually I'm thinking they are nerites, just a different kind then what they typically sell online. Maybe "Nerita undata"

Definately a nerite. I find these with th egrooved shell tend to climb out of th ewater more than the smooth shelled nerite. If you don't have a lid or a "lip" to the top of the tank, they may be found on your floor.

Putting the teenage runaways in time out without Xbox generally works well.....
Mine have all stayed under the acrylic lip. They hang out there, out of the water for some time, and then venture back down. A friend who got some from the same shipment has found them on her carpet trying to make the great escape. Some were extra crispy style.
