Snail with no SHELL!

One of my nassarius snails is climbing up the back wall and it has NO SHELL!
I have no idea what happen to it.... i assume he is going to be a goner?

Are you sure it's a nassarius and not a Stomatella snail hitchhiker?

Look under hitchhiker ID's and see if it looks like a stomatella .... they don't have shells.

No it doesnt look like a stomatella... damn and my camera phone wont be here till next week..
its really freaky looking
the foot looks normal... but its main part of the snail is exposed and is twirlled up at the end like it would be in the shell..
I wonder how the heck it lost its shell.
