Snails breeding? or killing each other?

Hey, I just bought 2 snails today, I can't remember what kind they are. But for about 4 hours they have been sucking each others suction parts. Are they trying to kill each other, or breed? HELP!

Like I said, I'm not so sure what kind they are. Well it would be pretty cool if they was breeding. But I want to know what they are doing. Because they look like they are sucking each other to death! lol!!!

I think...not sure...that most snails lay eggs, so they may be Sucking each other to death...lol...

maybe just a little forplay???

but yes some snails lay eggs and some just blow what looks like smoke into the water. but i am sure there are different ways to bread...
can you get a picture of them it might help some of the more experienced members to figure out what they are doing and what kind of snails they are.

was just thinking that if there was a pict then cranberry or some one else might be able to ID the snails. then we could look up to see what they are doing in sweethearts tank!

What does that make cranberry then for having all this snail making woopy pictures???
