Snails - posted on invertabrate forum too

I observed this weird thing going on in the tank tonight. There four snails were all on each other emitting something that looked like semen, then in a different area of the tank, two other different snails, one on top of each other, the top one was spitting what looked like salt. are my snails having ---?

Thats funny, per vert! But seriously, I believe they were mating

No doubt. Sounds like they were mating to me. I've never seen it before, though. Must've been a weird site!

there are a few prodcast breeders out there stomballa snails are oe that come to mind.
what kind of snails were they?
its very possible thats what was going on and its unlikely that you will see any hatch out the fish will eat any eggs that are laid pretty quickly.
