Snails tryin to leave

I just got my reef package yesterday and my snails started climbing th glass.Today i wake up and 14 snails are at the very top practicaly out of the water,is this normal?
My next question is are nass snails suposed to climb the glass?

nass. snails usually stay in the sand bed, and yes its normal for turbo snails to be along the glass, somtimes right at the very top

But what is supposed to be nass is on the glass to and a cpl on my rocks:/

mabey you got the wrong kind of snail, or they are just getting used to the tank

I jsut looked and the snail that swf sent me dont look like the nass snail i got:/

my snails are always on the glass, and usually right at the top with some of there shell out of the water. im beginning to think my water is to hot for them since its at 81-82.

Ive heard on here that true nass. will never climb glass. I think thats wrong since i have seen 2 of my nass. climb glass and they are definitely nassarius. As for the others , they definitely like to be near the top. Every time i do a water change at least 4-5 are completely out of the water near the very top for 10 minutes.

I have some that go up and over into the overflow and sometimes I catch them on the edge of the tank....I had one (my lfs referred to it as an "egg white snail" that usually stays buried in the sand bed) large one the size of a golf ball actually come all the way out and I found it on the floor behind the tank. It had travelled about 2 feet across the floor before I found it. It was still alive thankfully. I do have a canopy on the top, but there are 2 cut out areas for cords in the back. How do I keep them in???

i caught my turbo snail about to go into the big part of my protein skimmer where the water flows back into the tank (I have a Prizm HOB).
