Snails

I have about 10 of them and I want to throw them in the trash!!! I have to constantly check the tank to see what frag they knock over or knock off the rock into the sand.

Anyone want some free snails?

Why don't you secure the frags and rock with epoxy? That should really be done, snails or no.

Ive considered securing them but im not positive if thats where Iam going to keep them. I believe they are turbo snails

You can exchange astraea for mexican turbos much smaller.

I feel your pain. I have a rock that had 6 mushrooms on it. Mexican Turbo Snails kept knocking it over and now it only has one.

I too know how you feel, I constantly frag stuff and turbo and hermits are the bane of my existence, I have slowly weaned myself off of them and boosted my amounts of non-dozing snails, like Limpets, stomatella, strombus macalatus, and such I only have a couple turbos and hermits left and as I catch them they get fed to my friends mantis.

I had a feeling I wasn't the only one with this problem haha. They also leave a lot of waste behind, at least mine do.
