how long should snails live? ive had my snails for about 2 yrs. but over the last few months they are slowly dieing off.

I varies greatly by species. The large Turban snails should live 25 - 30 years, the Astrea 10 - 15, the big guys like Queen Conch should live 40 - 50 years and small snails like Stomatella may only live 6 months to a year.

That's very interesting.. It's sad when some people just keep replacing snails every few months thinking that "they're just getting old".
