IM STARTING TO GET SOME ALGAE ON THE SAND
ANYONE KNOW OF THE CHEAPEST, BEST WORKING, MOST HARDY, AND MOST AVAILABLE SNAILS TO GET WOULD BE

I would say the best snails for cleaning the sand would be trochus snails/mexican snails. Get more hermit crabs they do a good job in cleaning sand too.

I just wrote this down from another post a few days ago...not sure of the price, but here's what I wrote down....nassarius (sp) snails, and fighting conch (crab though). HTH

steve, nassarius snails are those small ones that hunt down decaying matter. they have a long antenna like thing that they constantly have out and moving around. if you live close to that pet place you can get them for .99 each. i have about 14 of them now, they are great, i want to get 30 more.
