Hi,
We were trying to catch a tang in my tank and a large white worm looking thing came out of one of the holes. It put some white ink looking stuff in the water and went back in the hole. I have never seen this one before. I have seen another snake/worm that is white and looks like a centepide but don't know a whole lot about it. Are these dangeroous and what are they??? What do they feed on? I have had my figi rock for about three years now and only see the centepide at night. It was on the front glass and really long and skinny. Is it ok to handle the rock and move them around?? Should I wear some type of gloves so I don't get bit?
Thanks!

Ok the one with hairs on it looks just like the Fire Worm. But this other one that we saw today is different it was solid white and looked very much like a earth worm and ejected a White Ink looking liquid. Has anyone seen or heard of something like that in LR before? I was just strange that it came out when we were not messing with the rock at all just trying to catch the tang.

Well after googling peanut worms I did finally find one that looked white. The only refrence to a fluid is Eggs or Sperm so maybe this is what it is. It was just freaky to see something come out of the rock that u have not seen in 3years and then shoot White Ink into the water.

Why was this thread closed??? Looked like good info.
I have a few worms that seem to be spreading and getting larger. Can't exactly tell what kind though from what I've found on here. They look like peanut worms except they are brownish in color.
Are they bad? What will they do? I bought two arrow crabs awhile back, I was told they eat them. (Just to control them and be safe.) But they haven't worked! Should i just let it go?
