Snow in Vegas

Talk about a city falling apart, this turned into a city wide crisis. people ended up abandoning their cars cause they didn't know how to make it up a hill, what was normally a 25min commute for some people turned into a 4 hour nightmare. It was hysterical, I mean this city came to a STAND STILL over a few inches of snow.. This morning they were asking that all drivers who had abandoned their cars to please come get them so that they could open lanes to traffic (yeah, they just left them in the traffic lane. We ended up getting 6 inches, what a blast......I spent 5 years in AK so I know how to deal with a few snowflakes...All the freeways were closed both ways due to accidents.
This is the entrance to my neighborhood a couple of hours before it really started to fall...

Vegas with snow...
Thats how it is here in west texas as well. We get snow everything coming to a stop over 2-3 inches lol...
I just laugh I use to live in CT.

Yikes, could be coming to Phoenix....It has been nasty the last couple days, I think the bad is behind us though.

Ironically, 2008 is on pace to be a slightly cooler year in a steadily rising temperature trend line... it actually illustrates how fast the world is warming.
