snowflake eel buffet

So I got tired of putting food in on a feeding stick and watching it fall off, so I made my snowflake eel a silverside buffet line .
He steps up to the buffet:

Reduced to a bunch of nubs. Then later he went INSIDE the clip and starting getting the leftovers.

They need a minimum of 50g, you could keep a snowflake for a while in a smaller tank, but it would have to be moved soon. They grow pretty quick. My moray in my brackish tank went from a few inches to 15 inches in about a year or two.

MorayM,
Cool pics, and good idea on a way to feed. It's a pain to sit and feed 1 peice at a time. Wouldn't work in my tank though, as my other aggressives would chow down on all the food before the SFE had a chance.

heres a pic of mine just thought i would post a pic of him.
ive had him for a month and hes grown like 2 inc at least. his fav rock hes in in this pic he gets stuck in now when he eats or if he eats w/o pulling it in then he wont fit in. i hope he figures out that he will be to big soon and wont be able to eat inside there w/o being stuck forever

What do you feed him with that thing, I saw that at my LFS, I would buy one and try the same.
Just let me know the details, I get tired of putting in the feeding stick in there, especially when sometimes he doesn't even come out to eat, would be great for my grouper to eat from that too.
My friend has a 2 footer, but its very skinny.

On the one in the picture is just silversides. Frozen silversides, thawed out in some SW and tossed on there.
Tried to mix it up with krill but so far he just eats the silversides up and leaves the krill.

I always go with snowflake eels as beginner eels, theyre so easy to take care of and very hardy. and they're also cheap fo a beginning eel keeper to pick up, and theyre easy to find.
