snowflake eel buffet

I did what you have displayed in your pictures as an eel buffet and it did not work for me.
It's now my eel but I did it at my friends house, the grouper didn't even bite at it.
And they are both very very hungry..
What is irrasistable to an eel...?
and from your experience silverslides are good.
If so, then heck with the live fish..
I won't be using my sweetwater tank anymore..

Every eel is different. For example, mine won't even touch touch krill, and my other eels love it.
That being said, maybe your eel isn't used to the food, maybe he isn't converted to frozen, I don't know. My eel used to not like silversides, I eventually converted him to silversides, always using a feeding stick. I then started just dropping in silversides and he'd find them as they floated down. Then I started putting them in on a clip, and letting it sink to near his cave, and it's always worked since. Sometimes he takes a little time to find it, and you have to not push it towards him or stress him out, and it's always worked.
But like I said, I've slowly converted him to frozen and this method, hopefully it works out for you.

I think he'd definitely munch on the yellow clown goby, esp if you miss a feeding for some reason.

I had one in my 55 about a year ago and loved shrimp pellets and frozen shrimp straight out of the grocery store freezer

Snowflakes should be fine with most fish as they are generally one of the more docile eels, this is also because it has blunt teeth for eating crustaceans rather than the typical sharp teeth like other morays. the only thing they may attack would be crustaceans but that is only if they are hungry. iv had mine fore a few years and it has only eaten a few shrimps and never annoyed my volitans or any other fish.
