Snowflake eel missing lower jaw

So I have a snowflake, chainlink eel, and a striped eel in my 95 wave tank. I have had all three together for about 1 1/2 years now and all has been good, until yesterday. I came home and noticed that my snowflake looked like he was gasping for air but i quickly realized his whole lower jaw was missing. I dont know what to do with him right now. He is still out and in his usual places. No one is picking on him. I assume when they were eating the chainlink tried to steel a piece of krill out of his mouth and got a little carried away.
Anyone had this happen before? Do I put him down and save him the agony. Or will he do alright, dont know how he will continue to eat.

I'm sure it wasn't intentional (given their poor eye sight), but I'd bet the chainlink mistook him for a snack. Have you tried to feed him to see if he'll take food?
If he'll eat, he may heal and be okay with time.
