i was wondering if a snowflake would get along (more like not eat) GSPs. Mine are about 2in now, and will be about 2 1/2-3 months before i would get the eel. I just dont want my lil green pok-e-dot balls to be eatin lol.

I loved my SFE. I had him for over 2 years. He went from about 1.5 inches to about 24 inches and always ate frozen. He was in a reef tank and I had no problems with snails or crabs. He was fed very well; silversides, squid, krill, etc. One day, I came home from work and the following were MIA; Coral Banded Shrimp, Fire Shrimp, Bicolor Blenny, Percula Clown, Dragonet and a Firegoby. The only thing left were the claws from the CBS. That weekend I sold him.
Also, don't feed him goldfish. It makes them sick. It's like eating McDonalds!

I've been feeding him every other day, when I feed the lions. I feed him a number of things like squid and raw shrimp pieces. He comes out of the cave, grabs the food and pulls it back in. I don't know if he eats it in there or stores it.

btw, the hard cover didn't work out for me. It was raising the tank temp. So what I did is make a home made plexiglass sheet that only covers 2 inches around the edges of the tank, including where the wires come out and the overflow siphons. Then in the middle I have eggcrate. So the only way he can jump out is if he goes through the middle, through the eggcrate holes.

My snowflake once grabbed a 4-5 inch butterfly and dragged him into his cave. I thought I'd never see it again, but he let him go and all was ok.
