I hate it! I don't know to go with a lot of small fish or a little big fish. it's just so frustrating. I feel like just getting an axe and breaking my tank. seriously.

look into a blue face angelfish - pomacanthus xanthometopon , I have one in with a pair of clowns, a zeba eel,marine betta,naso tang,a couple of cleaner shrimp,snails,crabs with no problems at all.The blue face does not tend to be as aggressive as some of its relatives.

the only problem with that is the same as the emperor .. you'll have to take it out someday as it will get too large

I was thinking that I would like a Radiata, since they are smaller and broaden my selection on tankmates.

yeah they're cool .. but a little harder to find than the volitans and more expensive
