i had pretty much the same question, so ill ask here. I jsut got a 40 gallon breeder for my snowflake once he outgrows the 29 gal he is in right now. But anyways, i wanted to get a reef tank, and since i have an eclipse system for the 29 gal, i would basicaly have to get a whole new tank to have the right lighting. But i was wondering if the Eel (named Kim Joung Eel) would do good in a reef tank with the smaller fish and once he gets close to 2 feet long. My logic says no, but that may be because i seriously got into fish when i got freshwater oscars, that will pick at my finger and jump a few inches out of the tank for a meal. But hes been fine with the fish i have now, and i have read on this site he will be fine as long as he is well fed. Then again, now he is only about 8-9 inches tops. Also will a reef tank work because i wouldnt be able to have any shrimp with a little eel. Sorry guys, but this one could go in either this forum or the reef section, but i figured you guys would know about the behavior.
Thanks!!
P.S. if a reef tank wont work i just want to get a porcupine puffer and maybe a dawf lion and thats it.
