Awesome, awesome eels!
I could totally see me and the SO becoming major eel people. Hell, we already keep dozens of snakes-- it's not a far cry!
I never knew you were in B-more. Where in B-more are you? Which fish store do you frequent? And GO RAVENS!! WOOT!

I'm up in Severn and I go to Sea Save, House of Tropicals, Exotic Aquatics, and up to Lancaster to *************. I quit going to the Aquarium Depot in Randalstown as their stock always seem to be in bad shape.
For SW I typically go to Exotic Aquatics up in Towson, on Sat/Sun all stock is 25% off.

Maryland baby!

Sea save is nice. Great Rock! I dont agree with the two 3 foot plus nurse sharks in the tub with zero room to move let alone swim. I pet them. The one was like a dog. It was odd.

Agreed. All my rock came from there.

Harley-- I go to Exotic Aquatics almost exclusively. I wonder if we've ever been in the store at the same time? LOL
I am in Dundalk, btw. I used to love HoT's but it's dissapointed me these past few years. I am big into reptiles and their reptile cages are disgusting and their animals underfed. Their FW selection is always somewhat pathetic. I've not been back since taking up the marine hobby.
What is this Sea Save? And is TPP worth the trip??

Sea Save is a LFS. They only do saltwater. They are really big into Live Rock. Its some of the most gorgeous rock I have ever seen. Just full of life. Its very heavy rock. So it cost more but well worth it. When I set up my bigger tank i will be going there for more. Not much of a fish collection.

Agreed, HOT has really fallen off over recent years.
EA is much better SW section, and their 25% off weekends used to be great but then they raised their prices to make up for it. Now they are overpriced.
Sea Save has great rock, and when they get a species in they are the best but they don't keep much livestock in.
TPP is well worth it for the dry goods, as cheap as mail order without the shipping. They have been getting some good stuff in from time to time as well. Worth the trip IMO.
