Snowflake

Just got a new snowflake moray. Seems to be doing well but after he eats he spits some of the food back out. Is this normal? Am I feeding too much?

what are you feeding..they like meaty food krill clams squid..when it spits it out does it eat it again like it was trying to break the food dowm to smaller size ?

Yes, After it spits it out it re-eats it.

I was just reading yesterday in one of the books
descibing various fish and it said this was a
normal behavior.

Yea, my zebra moray does that too. I think it's normal

I have two snowflakes and they both do it, from what I have read they can't get it all down at once so they do that. Great fish. What part of Pittsburgh are you from I was born and raised down in beaver valley Ambridge, GO STEELERS
