What will happen is the press will turn the story on those who stole the files and while it is important to capture and prosecute those responsible I think those found to have purposely manipulated data should spend the rest of their lives in jail.

I don't understand why more isn't made of Gore's obvious and blatant conflict of interest. He owns a carbon trading company.

I am starting a carbon trading company. My company won't produce crap, we won't create waste in excess of normal human consuption through breathing. So all you polluters out there...send your carbon check in payable to me so you can continue to pollute the environment. Since my company is not polluting it allows for your company to pollute as long as you pay me to continue to not pollute.............

More is not made of it because the lamestream media is in the treehuggers/liberals/prez's back pocket.

What's a potential bunch of crap is whether or not humans are significant contributors to it and whether or not we can do anything about it by adjusting our behaviour.
Whether our activities are a contributing factor or not, I cannot see how it could possibly be a bad thing to encourage the Chinese to stop sending their atmospheric pollutants to the US west coast, however.

How can you even be sure? There's just as many creditable results from punching in 'global temps have fallen' instead of risen, in google. I was almost postive they've fallen a bit in the last couple of years.
Though I think what CK was eluding to, was the fact that if we all don't switch to Hybrids or buy up Carbon Footprint Bux (akin to Disney Dollars), the world will end as a result from us.

all i know is whether or not we are adding to it, the Earth has climactic cycles, they have predicted the warming trend to only be a few hundred years early,, on the grand scheme of the planet that is not a huge deal....
