so for MH acclimation i can just put them right up with a few screens underneath?

this is what ive gathered from searches, but i would like to clarify.
ill install the MHs about a foot above the tank, hook them up for about 4 hours a day for a couple weeks with some screens over the egg crate, and every week up it an hour and remove a screen..
is this correct?
the only corals i have currently are some brown zoos, a green star polyp colony, green and orange ricordia, and an umbrella mushroom.. do these require any extra acclimation protection?

I'm a little confused with regards to the egg crate and screen. Could you explain a little more?

Those are some of the more hardy corals. Acclimation really becomes imortant with sps which you dont have. The screen/eggcrate thing really isnt necessary. Just run them for 4 hours a day and every week increase the time to acclimate!
