yup .. that's aiptasia. if you didn't know that this was aiptasia, what does the stuff you thought was aiptasia look like?

i would say it looks more like manjo to me.still a pest but i dont think that it looks like aiptasia unless im looking at the wrong thing?

It looks a little different, maybe a different species? (The other stuff)It has a base sort of like a tree then flowers out on the top in a circle with little things like fingers. But heck I don't know what im dealing with. They are probably both aiptasia. I'll get pics tomorrow when the lights come back on.

I've heard it can spread fast so I'm going to the LFS to get a "cure". Any suggestions would be cool!

Well it wasn't until I searched for "manjo" until I found what I'm dealing with. The thread below shows exactly what is in my tank. I'll be sure to get some joe's juice (If that's the most effective) since my tank isn't cycled yet.

+1 its a majano anemone. A spot treatment of Joes Juice should take care of it. Be sure to turn your powerheads off while treating.
