So I live on the 3 floor of some apartment, and have noticed some that my tank now leans about 1/4 to the left when I'm looking at it. And I have noticed that the floor is now sagging a tiny bit. This is a bit disturbing since I have a recurring nightmare that my tank fall through the 2 floors below me. And I'm forever broke. The second reason for this, is that it would hide my "unsightly" refugium. from my soon to be wifey.
Now that being said, I want to know what yall think about rotating my tank around in my apartment.
Here is the floorplan of my apartment.

Here is how the tank currently sits.

Here is my idea. (It will create a fishroom! And give me more space to play with equipment.)

The tanks should be almost to scale. Oh, and I have the "sunroom" option, so there is no door or wall right there. Do you think this will look good, or am I just waisting my time.
This is what it currently looks like, the fuge to the left is not currently hooked up, (broke during the move and had not set it back up yet. But I have to do something with it before may when I get a new wifey. So I've been told.

Is the space in between the couch and the sunroom a big window? if so it would be cool that you could see the entire tank from the livingroom. Looks like the only downside is that you would lose the sunroom for any type of seating.

As it is there is not seating, I've added some actual pictures. The other upside I see is that my tank will be sitting on a main stuctural support, as apposed to half way on one and sagging a little off of it.

is there going to be sun light on your tank during the day from the window
I can't imagine any more than is already hitting it, I don't have too much of an algea problem. Just scrub it a couple times a week. But no more than I was, when it was not in direct sunlight at all.

WOW thats a big tank to have in a apartment...do they know you have that, and i hope that floor is concrete if the floor is sagging EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!! scary scary scary! and yes the apartment complex would bill you for the damages, and knowing the apartments that ive stayed in before they will take that bill and triple it just becuase they can get away with it, not if you got written permission to do so then i dont see how you would Be liable...if they know about it already to late, but if they dont i would go get a written permission slip from them " just in case " sence most apartment managers have no clue what a tank of that size weighs, and if it dose fall threw its their fualt for saing the floor would hold it haha and you might be able to get them to pay for your tank sence they said it would hold it haha...but anyways if i was you i would really consider downsizeing! nice looking tank though!

yes, they know, I told them, it is like having a car parked in my living room. It weighs over a ton. They called the builder, he said oh yeah, no problem. It is a concrete floor. I've got written permission for a 200 gallon tank. It is 180. I have renter's insurance for the amount I'd be liable in the contract. 100,000 dollars. So I think I have my bases covered.

can you ask the landlord to see if they have blueprints for where all the studs are etc?
I emailed her today, haven't heard back from her. I'm thinking right now it isn't on a load bearing wall, the bottom floor below me has a patio instead of a sun room like I have...
