so im looking at my snail

and i thought how people attach xenia and gsp to their back walls and overflows. Do you think you could attach a small gsp frag or a single head zoanthid to the back of a snail? I think it would look funny if your snails were crawling everywhere with an open zoanthid on their back

you could but what if it scrapes up against a rock or moves under a power head? i think it would be cool but you could lose the zoa

I have a turbo snail that I've had for three years and it's covered in coraline algae and has like 10 tube worms on it. It looks like a mutant but it's cool. It looks prehistoric or something.
Zoas would be interesting.

make sure you willing to relocate whatever your putting on its back in case the snail dies where you cant reach it

uh oh freeborder, you have that crazy look in your eye again!
i think i see a new thread being born from this...
here's my trochus with chaeto

hahahaha it worked!!!
Im not sure if the zoa will open, it was a piece that fell off the main colony it was rather small and also attached to two other rocks so i had to pull it off the rock and may have damaged it. I also have never seen it open before because its been buried on the bottom of the main colony. We will see : )
Fresh after operation (always use gloves!)

Just hanging out in the tank

since then the snails been cruising around the tank, cant wait to see if the zoanthid opens

I have a snail that has a "salad bar" 2x his size of some weird green macro algae growing on his shell, doesn't seem to slow him down...
I think there was someone on here who "bedazzled" their CUC with googly eyes and sequins a while back

sigh he must not be happy because currently he is running a muck and crawling all over my zoanthids who are pissed off as it is that ive been adjusting them so much lately trying to find the perfect spot where they are the happiest

hahaahahahahahahahah the zoa actually started to open. I can see him in the back of my tank and its half open on top of his shell. So funny

I remember someone had a large snail that had a HUGE mushroom on its shell. It was pretty funny. The shroom can act like a parachute when the snail falls. LOL

a few weeks ago i added a few hermits to my frag tank and one of those buggers decided that he would give uphis shell for a new one which had an orange ricordia attached to it. i guess he got tired of all that extra weight on his back and found a new shell but it was funny to wake up and it is in another spot in the tank. I knew i should have plugged the whole in the shell

My friend grew me a Kenya tree and some green muchroom on shells. I joked that the crabs were gonna take the shells. Well a hermit got ahold of the shell with the mushroom. His name is trips...lol I always know where he is with the lights off cause he glows bright green
