For my 55 gallon i want to aqua scape it so i have one giant pillar of rock in the middle, then at the 2 ends i want to have two enormus corals.i was thinking 2 colt corals would suit this well, but is there antyhgin that grows faster that would suit it better?

Get a huge toadstool or some leather. Not as fast of a grower but twice the shower you could get a real nice hammer, frogspawn or torch.

I agree with the leathers, and anything in the euphyllia family would fill in nicely.
If you're looking for something that will just cover the rock, xenia would be a good choice.

Xenia grows on the rocks and some say it grows very fast in their tanks but some can't even keep it. Another encrusting coral that grows pretty fast in Green Star Polyps, very common coral with a bunch of small polyps

the green star polyps will grow fast, very fast if they like your tank, almost like a weed
