So its been quite a few years....

So its been quite a few years since posting here. Looks like I might get back into this hobby with a small 35g bow front. Of course its going to be a reef, but the question i have is this.
Does anyone still use a bare bottom tank, or is everyone adding sand now?
Like I said its been prolly 3-4 years since I messed with a tank, but I'm about to give it a go again.

I have seen a few people go bare bottom.....Personally I like to use sand

There are still bare bottom fans, but the majority use sand. Honestly, it's personal preference for me, I just don't like the look of bare bottom tanks, tried it and didn't like it at all.
