The clown made it 3 days in the QT. I came home yesterday to find him flipping himself around. I scoop him up in a BIG measuring cup put a little DT water in and hung the cup inside the display tank. Hubby thought maybe the lack of light was the problem but I pretty much knew he was toast.
Anyway the bugger flipped himself into the main tank and I had to scooped him off the bottom. I know stupid putting it anywhere near the main tank.
Now I don't think he had a disease, just an infected wound where the chromis chomped him.
Here's a pic of before it got right bad
The skin around where is top fin was had turned brown and was getting eaten away.
None of the QT water got in the tank and for the majority of the time that he had this mark he was in the DT.
All the fish seem happy only thing is a white dot above my sailfins left eye but I think it's just stuck sand(He likes to lay and swim along the bottom the odd time picking stuff off the bottom of rocks)
Duh! The question is, do I need to worry about the rest of the fish
