So what are you doing for V-day?

Anyway, I was wondering what everyone was doing for valentines day?
I'm kind of in a conundrum, my wife got a job at a florist. So flowers are out. So are chocolates. And pretty much any v-day style festivities. And I can't take her out for dinner tonight, because well, she won't get off work till 10 or so. It is interesting....

HMMM...I am working...LOL...we went out to eat Friday at Red Lobster while we were in Texarkana. Our anniversayr is the 17th, so we usually go out to a special place to eat....nothing big, I don;t want candy, and IMO flowers are a waste of money...so we just buy dumb cards..lol....and have a nice meal out together on the weekend

Making Steaks at home Nothing Special just Ribeyes. Along with Shrimp Served with Auguatin Potatoes and thats it. SHe already got her card since I am under the weather right now with a get this case of the Mumps I have no clue how I caught it either. Kids and wife are fine I tested Postive for it yesterday at the ER. Talk about Bummed out.

I've been really sick lately and everyone sent me cards and flowers as a "get well" so that was out for me as well this year. I'm allergic to nuts, so buying me candy can be tricky, so hubby shies away from that as well. He ordered me an Edible Arrangements, just got delivered to the house. It was a nice, creative idea. I love fruit, and I still get an "arrangement", just not a floral one. He also got me a massage package for when I feel better and a new detachable steering wheel for the race car.

ARG....I have to be at 2 grand kids Valentines parties.....BOTH are at 1:30

So I am going to get to ones early....and the others late......and wait till the school hears what I think about this.....they should know better
(Mom had to take baby brother to a pre-admin for dental surgery, or we would each go to one)
