I was not going to, but I started watching all the pre-game stuff.....and ...well....it's still on
 
IDC who wins....BUT I have to route for New Orleans..ONLY...cause my husband is pissed a Favre for what he did to the Cowboys last year

Woooohooooo! I have always liked the Packers and Favre because I live in Detroit and have always had family in WI with connections with the organization and well when the Lions sucked (which is why I never really liked the NFL too much, but things have changed, anyways) you could always go route for the Packers. I've always just liked Favre but I feel one just has to cheer for the Saints cause New Orleans still needs it even after a super bowl. Conflict of interests ahhhhhh!!!! So now I will say something I have not uttered since I was 8 years old...... GO LIONS WOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WE ACTUALLY FEEL LIKE A PART OF THE LEAGUE FOR ONCE WOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

Well I'm glad football started, I'm happy I played NO def. in my fantasy and they had a pretty good game. I could take or leave Farve I think the media makes him look a lot dumber than what he is. Remember last year statisically he was the second best QB in the league. If he can play he can play. But nevertheless football is back and I'm a happy camper.

First game you work out the kinks, Favre had a good first half though, and I think the O line was consistently good for MN on the pass but they can't pass block forever and I think Favre doesn't trust his receivers yet, they weren't very impressive in my opinion. The saints FG kicker was terrible though, maybe the fans yelling made it a little gusty in there haha. Good game though. There was one thing I didn't like though and that was the pregame concert.

I'm so pissed. How do you run effectively like Peterson did in the first half and then only give him a handful of carries in the second half. We had ther Defnse on its heals and winded and then we started throwing every down. Vikes Defense will take holding the Aints to 14 points any day of the week. Every part of the offense sucked tonight except peterson.
Favre really showed why you need to show up to training camp!
Last year I felt like even though we lost we had the better team. Tonigth I cannot say the same.
Play calling was the worst. No play action, no screens, no slants. COME ON!

In the end I didn't think Favre played well and I didn't realize that he didn't go to training camp. Just because he has been in the league for 100 years doesn't mean he shouldn't practice hard before the season begins. Overall, I thought the defense looked okay but I do think the first few weeks are all about working out the kinks. I didn't see a whole lot of Bush doing anything. I guess the is Heisman trophy was on his mind!

 
So did you see the mack daddy contract Tom Brady just got?!

But I don't think Farve played that bad. He still looked a little gimpy. He and his WR were on different pages... The more I watch Reggie Bush the more I think that the Texan's made the best decision by passing him up. And if NO is the baseline, I think the Vike's put on a much better show than last NFC Championship...
