well i have read that fish love garlic, so i was wondering if you soaked some frozen shrimp if it would hurt the fish, i mean you get the little tubs of garlic butter everytime you order a pizza, and i thought that mabey soaking my fish food in it would be a better use than just throwing it away......

Butter
Actually hmm... it's one of the main constituents keeping Americans plump...
Garlic extract (which is all the popular aquarium products are) is a good additive for food. I use it on top of Selcon amino acids...

maybe a silly question, but since on the topic of garlic, what about sprinkling a little garlic powder into the flake/pellet foods?

I don't think I'd even consider garlic butter or garlic salt. I also prefer a fresh clove...a quarter of a clove mixed with a bit of tank water...remove the clove after 5-10 min and add that nights menu for the reef. I've been using that procedure with freash garlic for about two years now...a few times a month.
