Soaking food in Garlic?

Can someone explain this to me a bit?
I feed either flake ( a mixture of formula 1 and 2) or frozen brine shrimp.
In my mind.. soaking food would require that the food be big enough to soak (in my mind I'm thinking marinate the food - silly, I know)
How do you soak food that is tiny?
And is there a garlic solution you are soaking it in?
Thank you.
Love,
A

yeah you can buy Kent Marine's Garlic Xtreme. Very stinky stuff xD I just use a small lil bowl put a lil of tank water in it put the food in there and put 2 drops of the Garlic Xtreme in and leave it for about 5 minutes and then feed. :)

I'm just glad more and more people are leaning towards soaking food with garlic. It wasn't like this when I first started in this forum. I try telling some folks about the garlic method and they just turn their nose on me. I use it and it works for me...Good Luck!! :happyfish

This may sound dumb, but why do would you have to soak their food in garlic? Is it if they're not eating well?

Yeah but don't forget the benefit of boosting the immune system.

Ohh, so the GARLIC boosts the immune system. I thought just eating more of the food did. I'll have to try that.

McCormacks Garlic Juice comes in a brown bottle and you can buy it at food lion. Works great. Also, some of the frozen foods now have garlic in them.

Food doesn't have to be large to soak in garlic. Every morning I take formula one and two pellets and crush them to almost a powder with the top of a chapstick tube. I do the same with tetra marine pellets. then grind up a tiny pinch of tetra marine flakes with my fingers. all in a 30cc plastic medicine cup. I then stred a little bit of frozen mysis and reef plankton off a cube with a knife and put that in the medicine cup as well. I add about 5cc of tank water and cut a small piece of garlic off a fresh clove(or not so fresh since one clove last weeks). I put the small piece of garlic in the medicine cup, water and food, cut litttle slits in it with the knife and squeeze down on it a little with the knife. I let it soak about 5-10 minutes, remove the garlic from the cup then I suck half of it up with a syringe (minus the needle) and feed it to the fish/corals. I put the other half in the fridge and feed that in the evening.
I wasn't a believer in garlic, even scoffed at it not too long ago in a post about ich but I started doing it for kicks since I have a small tang temperarily in a tank too small. I'll be darned if his health doesn't seem greatly improved.
