soap in tank!!!!!!!

ok my little brother decided to stick today a cup in my tank because i forgot to close my room door he is only 3 so i cant really get mad at him............the cup was clean but obviously its been washed with soap before..............how bad is this? will it kill everything inside? and if it does how long would it take?

maybe you shouldn't post the same thing 3 times.... very frustrating for the rest of us, so most people won't reply. you hafta be patient, not everyone is on when you are.

wat is your tank volume? was the cup hand washed? should be ok if it rinse well
sorry to here that but only time will tell
IMO....it should be ok

it's christmas be helpful

what size tank. IMO you will probably be ok, I'd do a significant water change just to be safe. Like posted above "time will tell" good luck

If it has been rinsed then no worries,
I use stuff in my tank that has been washed in the dishwasher. unless there is actual soap residue in the cup then nothing bad will happen to your tank.

I dont think you have too much to worry about. You might see an increase in phosphates which will inhibit the growth of algae.
