Looks great Boss. I just have one problem. Attempting to find your fish is like trying to find Waldo. I see one clown.

Trigger is in the lower right hand corner, near some green spotted shrooms.
I have but 2 fish in there. Between Adolf Hitler the maroon clown, the trigger and a CBS...I'm pretty well stocked.

That is cool, you are going for that low bioload. I know you had some fish carpet surf but I didn't realize you were down to 2 fish. You and I should write a book on how not to keep fish in the tank.

Actually, that was trigger who was flopping around on the tile. My daughter scraped him up and tossed him back in!
He is fine! He flopped up on the light fixture once, too. I was feeding at the time, and he got a little overzealous. He loves food.

Thanks. I have a renewed interest in the tank. A few months ago I was ready to sell off livestock and tear it down.

Those are SO hard to photograph. I wish that I could get a better shot of them. (especially one without the algae)

Yup. Red Toothed triggerfish. (niger)
Wife got a Canon 40D for mothers day!
I love it when she gets cool stuff.
I can't wait to try it on the tank.
i thought trigger fish werent reef safe? are they?
Hit and miss. Best to err on the side of safety and not worry about it. I had him 6 years without issue. People say that as they mature the nipping increases. I made sure he was well fed and tried to introduce coral at night with the lights off to keep curiosity to a minimum. I also kept a CBS with him. He died this summer and we were beside ourselves with grief.
Blue throats and nigers are the most likely triggers to be safe in a reef environment.
