the liquid calcium is just that calcium, you could do the calcium with the kalk and be fine, or stop doing the ca and kalk , and just do the b-ionic. but onyl do one set or the other! how about temp? what do you keep your temp at? are your leathers also going through their normal sliming pattern?
good luck

Im not entirely certain about your last question BUT calcium, alkalinity and i think PH are all related together. If you add calcium to your tank then you raise the alk. You want a stable alk of around 8 or 9 and calcium at about i think it was 400. If you alk is stable then your tank can resist changes in your PH due to decomposition of dead fish or food or whatever. BUT if your calcium is about 400 or your alk is around 8 or 9 then either or should be in the right levels generally.
There is a ratio of all of this and im not entirely sure the above is 100% correct. Do a search. Look for a post by Broomer. He did a treatise on this a couple months ago :)

My temp is always usally between 79 and 82f .I dont run a heater because the lights keep the water warm enough(so I think)I always figuered they like it as cold as possible being that the ocean cold.theres one leather which I have had longest that isnt really slimming as much and my torch coral tentacles are not long as they were before but rather thick and short. Thank you for your reply.:)

If your calcium is low - your alkalinity is most likely too high.
If your calcium is too high - your alkalinity is most likely too low.
If you alkalinityis too low - your calcium is probably too high.
If your alkalinity is too high - your calcium is probably too low.
