Softies and Shrooms??????

What are softies and shrooms. Sorry I just started a 30 gallon one month ago, still learning!!!

Softies = LPS (large polyped scleractinian (sp))
Shrooms = Discosomas (aka Mushrooms)
If you're interested in learning more about corals, Eric Borneman has a great book on the subject. It's the "Bible" for coral hobbyists.

Softies are non-stoney corals like Leathers and mushrooms.
