Well I have been dreding this but I have no choice. I was kind enough to send some mushrooms to josh. I had asked him to pay for the shipping and he agreed. well you can see the date of this thread and I haven't recieved any money from him. The only thing I get it"the check is in the mail"
I am a man of my word and I follow through with my promises.
Josh told me the corals were all dead on arrival and the box had been crushed. I saw a post from him with the shroom in his tank and doing well.

Ron, Josh addressed you in his picture post:
The single brown mushroom in the upper right hand corner is from a guy names Ron. Unfortunitly the post office delivered it a day late and in very damaged condition. I took what I thought was a dead mushroom, and put it in the "Emergency Room" tank and with some heavy light and some rest, and it made a full recovery. I am still shocked and amazed it made. It was nothing but goo and slime and smelled like a public bathroom in Tijuana. However, it wanted to live and its huge now! Thanks again Ron.

Hooyaah soldier!! Welcome back. Glad to see you made it home safely. I'm just starting out and don't have much. Do you think you can use a fairly large jade hermit crab and an emerald crab? I'm hoping my tank doesn't crash while i'm gone. Anyway, let me know.

Yeah I did read that and thats why I am upset with him. I tild him to pay shipping is all. I waited aand waited. he told me he would send the check out the next day. this is after I had sent him a bill through my paypal account that he totally ignored. then he told me he needed to reciept before the insurance claim could be refunded on the corals. it was $100.00. well I sent the papers and no word from him after that. I have sent him plenty of emails asking for just the $22.20 in shipping. I was trying to be nice and see where nice will get you these days.
That is why I had such a hard time buying something from SWF for the first time. It has nothing to do with SWF, it has everything to do with me trusting people. BTW, IMO SWF is awsome in there business deals and will be buying from them angain. Sorry if I have upset some people here from this post, but I believe I have the right to a complaint.
If he feels he has been wrongfully accused then I will leave my email for him to contact me. reckler6069@msn.com he already has my phone number.

I had an email from Josh. he told me he will send the check out asap to me. He had to go away and left the deed to his wife to take care of. well she didn't. He told me he was very sorry for the mishap and I would like to say here on SWF that I do appologize to josh fro saying what I did.
I felt pretty bad for saying the things I did, but if anyone out there has intentions to take advantage of someones generosity, then they would deserve it.
Josh really seemed to me to be pretty sincere about everything. I hope in the future I will have the operatunity to trade again with him.
to everyone that has read this thread, I am sorry if I have persuaded any of you not to trade with him. He is trustworthy.

Not to fuel the fire or anything, but in his original post he said his brother was taking care of the tank, and because of this things perished. That just struck me as odd when I read your last post, Reckler. Why wouldn't he just have his wife look after the tank? You are a good person; I hope you get your money.

THere may be many reasons you would have someone else come check on the tank.
This is the Holiday season, and we are dealing with a member of our armed forces.

Everyone -
I want to take a second to clear up some confusion.
Ron Reckler was very gracious and sent me a mushroom. I received the package in severely damaged condition, with the container completely empty of water... and only a goo spot which somehow from the grace of god came back to life and became the mushroom you see in the picture.
Instructions were to send the shipping once I received the package. He had to mail me the original receipt for the shipping because it was needed to file the necessary paperwork with the post office. It was then I was sent on a very short notice out of the country on another mission. I asked my wife (Blond and cant do anything other than put makeup on and do her hair) to please mail a check to Ron.
Upon my return, I see that Ron hadn’t gotten paid, and I went and asked her. A Very blank stare on her face immediately told me that she hadn’t done as I had asked of her.
I e-mailed Ron and let him know the situation, and went to the post office and Priority mailed him the check for the shipping and e-mailed him the tracking info.
I am a man of my word, and would go to the end of the earth to make sure it stands true and no one would ever doubt it. I apologized to Ron and hopefully between him and I have cleared the situation up and are friends.
This brings me to my next thing. Schneidts posted about my brother taking care of the tank. When I deployed overseas, my wife flew back to the west coast to stay with her parents. Many military spouses do this because it is a difficult time to be apart, and family helps fill the gap. My brother had to take care of the tank because she was across the country.
I am again sorry to Ron Reckler for it taking 3 weeks to get his shipping money back. The situation is now resolved and I hope recklers faith in his fellow man has been restored.

I am trying to rectify the situation. It was a miscommunication between my wife and I, and a call saying your going out of the country that left Reckler to wait 3 weeks to get his $22 in shipping back to him. It has since been refunded plus extra for waiting so long.
I have appolgized to Reckler personally and we have cleared up the situation between him and I.
This was not the only negative thing you said about her..Maybe you should let her read it and decide for herself...I KNOW how mine would react, as I have been in the Navy im sure longer than you, and we know what it takes to make it work..Good Luck
