What kind of supplements do you use for your corals? And are any of those corals just really hard to take care of?

I am getting into some SPS corals that are less hardy than softies, and more demanding... current, and lighting...
I started off with a ton of hermits, and various snails... I seem to have lost quite a few snails due to the hermits "evicting" them for their shells... It may be time to add a few more snails, although I have had my astrea snails reproduce..... I always seem to have a good crop of them...
