Some major flaws with this forum!

I've tried contacting several people who have listed things here as "for sale" and get very little or no response. I leave me email but get nothing. If its sold, that is fine but please contact those people who are showing an interest in what you are selling and tell them something. Please don't list things for sale unless you are actually selling them.
This is very frustrating!
Someone needs to review this forum and see if its worth having it around. Maybe I'm just having bad luck buts its very discouraging to read a post, reply and then be ignored.

You are'nt the only that has had probelms..I actually had made a deal with 1 person then they e-mail me and told me someone else wanted to buy it for more..then he went on to tell me that I probally did'nt want to pay that much.... But I have also had some got some good deals off here...so don't give up....

Well, keep in mind that this isn't ----. SWF.com is just making this forum available for fellow hobbyists to cut some deals, etc, on used stuff. SWF.com can't account for other folks' rudeness or lack of consideration.
However, perhaps by posting the problem here, people who are interested in selling will take note and be a bit more conscientious in their negociations.
I personally feel that a deal is a deal, and, unless you want to get a bad rep, once you make a deal, you should stick to it. Also, it doesn't cost anyone anything to send an email or post back here that something has been sold.

I was buying a MH ballast from someone on here. Asked them to check on the shipping price so I could Paypal them the money, and never heard back. I emailed again and got the response that they sold it to a local buyer. I had already made the deal with the guy and then he stiffs me. That is frustrating. I do not like this forum either. I think they would do better to have an "off topic" forum.

Its not that I don't like this forum. Its just that, as we seem to all have seen, it gets frustrating. I spend time here searching for things I would like only to get ignored or blown off when I show interest. Some of your stories are even worse experiences!
I do not blame swf.com. In fact, I love this site and I have brought on a few of my friends. I know this ins't ---- and I wasn't addressing my post to swf.com only. I was addressing it to all of those who have posted things for sale and then ignored or blown off the interested parties.
All I am asking for is a little professionalism or common courtesy when selling items here.
