Here are some pics of my system. I only took a pic of one pre-filter, but there is one on each side of the tank.

Very nice set up. I think that your system will definately handle the bio load those fish will create. A word of advice though (since we best learn from here) is that the dead white coral will not stay that way very long and will get a nasty gross brown/green color. Just my $.02

It was about $12500 for all the tank and stuff. About $5K for the wood work, which will be done by the end of the year. The fish I have not added up.

Do you have other, larger tanks, to move the majority of those fish to, when they outgrow the shallow depth of the current tank?
Cool tank, BTW.

I am in the middle of building a 900 gallon. It will be 10ft long X 4ft wide X 3ft high.
So when they get big, i just move them across the room to their new mansion. I think of my current tank as a nice condo.
I have a new puffer picked out for the new tank. If I said how big he was, you would think I am making it up. I will have to surprise everyone. Here are some new pics I just took today.

the puffer that you are calling a stars and stripes is not. it is in fact a dogface puffer but it is a narrow lined puffer. the stars and stripes are a greenish brown depending on size usually and the have stripes on their underbelly and white spots on top hence the stars and stripes. the narrowlined has the same temperments as all the other dogfaces and they get about the same size. probably my favorite next to the black pearl panda and golden.
