Hello everyone. I wanted to share some pictures with you, as I just (well, 6 hours ago) recieved my order from SWF.
I have a 55G tank, that currently houses two Picasso Clowns, two Sandsifter Starfishes, a Brittle Starfish, some Scarlet Hermits, and a couple Snails. Here is the list of the life I added today:Five Emerald Crabs
30 polyps of Green/Blue Zoanthids
40 polyps of Green Eye Zoanthids
One Green Ricordea
One Cleaner Shrimp
I did drip acclimation on the Inverts and float acclimation on the corals. Now, the pictures
So, before I even opened the bags I decided to make a few pieces of rubble to attatch the polyps to...obviously I've never done this before, as these pieces were either uneeded or foolishly too small
So first I floated the bags in the water for a half hour..
While the corals were adjusting I went ahead and set up the drip for the Inverts...
Some Time Passes...
The next thing I do is to open up my Blue/Green Zoos. I begin to panic because (A) They Don't look like the did in the picture *smirk* and (B) they're not attatched to any rock.
So I finally stopped panicing and decided to glue (with Krazy Glue!) it to one of the pieces (one of the bigger ones) of rubble that I had made earlier that morning.
I did not take a picture of it out of the water for some reason. I attatched it to a piece of rock, but I was concerned about it being securely attatched so I gently wrapped it in netting and set it in the tank.
When do you think would be a good time to take the netting off? The Zoos are starting to open up inside the netting, and I'm sure the Krazy Glue has set up by now.
Thankfully when I took out the Green Eye Zoo's they were already attatched to a piece of rock, so I just moved a little bit of rock around and set them a little off-center in my tank
There were a couple of pieces of the Green Eye that fell off of the main piece during transport/me taking it out of the bag
So I decided to make a couple of little plugs with the rubble that I made earlier.
