I'm guessing it's an Emerald Crab (Mithrax sculptus), although a closer picture would help. Did you buy this, or did it come as a hitchhiker on your liverock?

Looks like another variety of hermit too. That looks like a shell? and hermit legs.... I wouldn't worry about a hermit unless he starts to get really really big. Then you need to worry about them getting in giant shells and tearing your tank up. Like my halloween hermit who decided to go 4 shell sizes bigger in one swoop and decided to walk around with this shell through my corals....

Nice pictures.....it looks like some sort of Zebra Hermit to me......if I am looking at the right thing.
P.S. - Sharks are not smarter than other hobbiests on the board.......we just moderate.
