Only had these guys for a week. So far so good.
They are in a 120 tank with 520 watts of pc lighting.

yea i think that blue one would be a LOT better looking with halides but very cool clams you got there :joy:

this is a huge debate. it pretty much depends on the clam itself. all clams will do better under halides, but some have been able to at least SURVIVE (although after losing a lot of color) for periodes of time under PC. however, i dont think 5.2 wpg of PC is sufficient for any clam. esspecialy not on the sand bed.
they look nice though.

What about this for 29gal. https://link violation Thats what I bought. I know it will grow all soft corrals. Im not really into the hard corral myself. But what about clams if they are close to the top? maybe make a LR shelf just for a clam?

FYI: it is illegal to post links to other sites. But not, that is not enough for any type of clam. I dont think the above is either. If you want to get a clam and not have it just POSSIBLY survive but actualy do well, get some halides.
PS: jsut wanting soft corals will eventualy move to wanting hard corals
trust me, i should know.
