Very nice Mike, once you get a few of those babies set to sell, you'll have to let us know
.
Will do. I kind of had the idea these would be part of the Fragger Zoa Thing going on and check with everyone on a set price and do them that way along with the group purchase thing going on. Don't know if it will work out that way, but thought it might be a good thing if zoa lovers had some to pick from, have all the names down and have the prices set per polyp.
I think that is basically what this is all about? DOn't know if those in my frag tank will fit in but was looking toward that.
Kind of had the idea that with the funds from what I have I could buy into some of the rare, grow them out and have them on hand for those wanting.

I think they are neon greens. They are a little small for kryptonite and very neon green.

Sounds great to me ~ I've gotton some the semi-rares as I'm sure you saw. Once we get prices set and peoples frags grow out, we can start swapping around and people can pick these up at a little more reasonable price.

Is that a palythoa grandis morph or something different?
There are many different morphs of Palythoa grandis. This type is the most desirable one that sometimes commands a price of up to $100+ per polyp. Average polyp size is 2.5 inches. These do not like light (deep water/semi-shaded), are slow growers and are very touchy when first introduced. Once acclimated they can be moved closer to your lighting if so desired, but patience and time is needed for this type.
A close morph to this one can be collected in the waters of the Gulf at depths of 100ft+.

Hey Mike I thought that someone gave you the handle of "Lord of the Rics". It seems that you have expanded your horizons

lol. Too kind. I have always liked zoanthids, just rics more so. And if it hadn't been for the ZFA thing going on I would have never taken any pics like I have or set-up a zoa only frag tank. Guess just trying to spark an interest or otherwise intensify one for those already interested in them.
