Some type of impervious algae

Impervious might be an overstatement but this algae like stuff that has begun to take over my glass is all but impossible to get off. It is green... and that's about all I can say. I just wanted to know if their is a certain snail that will eat this stuff, because my turbos, mexican turbo, and all my nassarius don't seem to have an impact on this stuff or even try to eat it. I appreciate any help.
PS
I'll try and post some pics later tonight.

That is green coralline. If you have a glass tank, Kent's makes a scraper that one should not be without. Or a razorblade will work, just be careful around the silicone. If you have acrylic, a credit card will work.
